CONSISTENT PRINT FORMS

Direct laser engraving is a simple single-step process to create flexo printing forms from digital images.

In these competitive times, it is essential that branded C.P.C. designs are perfectly reproduced, fast and efficiently on to a wide variety of different products. From artwork to printing, each stage requires careful control of quality and management of variables, to ensure a successful result.

FROM IMAGE TO PERFECT PRINT IN A SINGLE STEP

What is unique about Direct laser engraving?

Digital graphic workflow: DLE converts a digital 1 bit tiff image into a 3-dimensional pattern which is engraved into the printing plate or sleeve, producing a finished printing form, in a single digital process.

Flat top dot formation: Whether producing plates or sleeves, by creating the complete image and relief using the laser, the top of the dot, is maintained as a flat surface, totally un-affected by the image processing.

Durable, long-life printing forms: The ability of the Direct CTP imager to engrave a wide variety of Elastomer sleeves and plate materials, means that printers can select a sleeve or plate to suit their printing rather than their plate processing system.
